Was Not Lost ; A Poem For Marcus Fiesel

Was Not Lost ; A Poem For Marcus Fiesel
By L. Wilson
They did not hear me,
They did not see me,
They did not know me,
But they tried so hard,
They turned every blade of grass,
Searched under every tree,
Left no stone unturned,
Oh how brave they were,
For me,
Not knowing,
What had become of me,
They held hope,
That soon,
They would find me,
And I would be safe,
But their hopes,
Soon became reality,
Not a stranger,
Not an enemy,
But the ones,
Who were to care for me,
Took what the Lord,
Had given me,
My life to them,
Was burdening,
For them to do,
Whats been done to me,
Not knowing I was a gift,
That needed loved,
And someone to protect me,
They locked me in their closet,
Forgot I was human,
Forgot I needed water,
Forgot I needed food,
Forgot I needed air,
And they forgot in death,
I could still tell the truth,
I am safe now,
The Lord has brought me home,
And here is really,
Now where I belong,
Dancing with angels around me,
Never hungry,
And never knowing,
Any of the pain,
For now I am home,
And for them,
Their fate will remain.......

I changed some of the words, but then that happens to me. I hope they get to read this at the court hearing, it says more than they can believe.

May you rest in peace Marcus, and may they always know you were loved by us, the ones who searched for you to be returned safely.
