Missing child found, father in police custody

Police have located a Catskill boy who has been missing since early Thursday, and the boy's father is now in police custody.

Police said Joshua Adams, 6, was last seen early Thursday morning when his father broke into Joshua's guardian's home and took him. Investigators said Donald Adams Jr. does not have custody of the child.

After 36 hours, police have found a missing Catskill boy and his father. The boy was unharmed, and his father is in police custody.

Adams' car was stopped at the George Washington Bridge by members of the NYC Port Authority Police Department on Friday. Adams was taken into custody on an arrest warrant issued for second-degree burglary. More charges are pending.

Police said Joshua Adams was unharmed and appeared to be in good health.
