To date, local law enforcement authorities haven’t had any updates on the whereabouts of Warpula.
“I hate to say it, but what can they do?’ said Larry Warpula Jr. of law enforcement officials searching for his missing father. “I understand it though, I mean what the hell can you do after he’s been gone for two years?”
The mystery surrounding the disappearance of the 75-year-old Chisholm man may never be solved and that’s been the hardest part for the family.
In recognition of the second anniversary, Larry Jr., Pat and other family members will head back to the site where Warpula was last seen to visit the memorial set up in his memory. The memorial consists of a sign, surrounded by several empty cans of Copenhagen and Mountain Dew cans, which were two of his vices.
The family doesn’t plan on doing any searches, but once again is asking for the public to just keep Warpula in their minds if they are out in the woods.
Can you help this family get peace?
