AMBER Alert Issued In N.J. After 2-Year-Old Taken
NEW YORK
(CBS) The New Jersey State Police have issued an AMBER alert for a missing 2-year-old boy.
Altereek Dunn Jr. was allegedly snatched by his father, Altereek Dunn on Wednesday evening.
Dunn is driving a dark colored 2009 Audi -- possibly black or metallic -- with temporary New Jersey registration in the back window.

I could honestly say I understand why the state of NJ is operating in the red. NJ suffers from political mismanagement. I think most law makers in Jersey have no clue what they are doing. The state police issues an Amber Alert in a few counties by using the cable companies emergency response system last night, which is fine. But they failed to give the general public any info other than a repeated audio message every 3 minutes, which says for more info about the amber alert check the same channel that state has locked on everyone's tv sett. The same stupid message has been on my television for 12 hours, and I have yet to figure out what is going on. NJ Trooper has not given us any details. I thought the federal government came up with the amber alert system, so the general public would be able to assist government officials recover missing children, but when you leave the job for NJ official, you can always count on those guys to screw it up. NJ takes a system which works successfully in other state and always manage a way to make things more difficult. Thanks NJ.
