Casey Anthony Faces Murder Charges

The mother of missing Florida toddler Caylee Anthony is now facing first degree murder charges. On Tuesday a grand jury in Orlando handed up the indictment against her Casey Anthony.
It took the grand jury less than an hour of deliberations to recommend Anthony be charged with her murder. 22-year-old Casey Anthony appeared with her attorney before turning herself in to police, an arrest that caps months of suspicion in a case that has garnered national attention.
Caylee Anthony has been missing since spring, but authorities weren't notified until more than a month after she disappeared.
It was Caylee's grandmother who finally called 911 and reported her missing. Casey Anthony initially told police that she'd been conducting her own search for the girl so that her parents wouldn't be worried.
Court documents and surveillance tapes released by prosecutors show Casey spent that time going on shopping sprees, allegedly with stolen checks.
Investigators still haven't found little Caylee's body, but say they now believe there is enough evidence she was killed and that her mother is to blame.
Casey Anthony also faces charges of second degree aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child.
