Local Case Featured On America's Most Wanted

Sonora, CA -- A local case of a missing Nevada woman will be featured on America's Most Wanted, Saturday, June 24th.

The segment for 65-year-old Nita Mayo, will air at 9:00pm est on Fox.

Reports indicate Mayo left her home around 10:00am on Monday, August 8, 2005, telling friends she was en-route to a "village" on the west side of the Sonora Pass.

On Wednesday August 10th her vehicle was found abandoned at the Donnell Vista Point on Hwy 108. On the 24th and 25th of June, an organized search will be conducted at the Donnell Vista area.

The search has been coordinated to include the dangerous and treacherous cliff areas of the Vista only, however, in the near future more extensive ground searches will be conducted.
