Boy, 8, missing from residence

GREENACRES — Police were searching for a missing 8-year-old autistic boy Friday night last seen at his home at 2228-C White Pine Circle, Greenacres.

Jared J. McGuire was wearing a gray T-shirt with blue around the sleeves and collar; "Old Navy" was written on the front of the shirt in red lettering.

He is described as being 4-feet-8, 65 pounds, with long brown hair and green eyes.

The boy, who police say does not communicate well, was reported missing around 3:30 p.m. By late Thursday night, between 30 and 40 officers from Greenacres, Palm Springs and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office were searching for him.

THE CHILD WAS LAST SEEN IN THE IN THE AREA OF FOREST HILL BLVD AND JOG ROAD GREENACRES, FL.

AUTHORITIES SAY THE CHILD WAS ABDUCTED BY A WHITE MALE WITH GRAY OR DARK HAIR AND GOATEE, WEARING A COLLARED LONG-SLEEVE MULTI-COLORED FLANEL SHIRT, BLUE JEANS, WHITE TENNIS SHOES, AND A BLACK BALL CAP.

THE CHILD WAS FORCED INTO A DIRTY WHITE MID-90S FULL-SIZE BOX CHEVY VAN WITH A SLIDING PASSENGER DOOR AND AN UNKNOW FL TAG.
