The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reports that a family of five has been abducted from their home in McCurtain County. OSBI is working with the McCurtain County Sheriff's Office to find this family and its abductors.

The missing family members are 36 year-old Edwin Alvarado, Sr. He's described as 5' 2", weighing 150 pounds... 26 year-old Donivet Alvarado. She's described as 5' tall, 150 pounds.

The children are nine year-old Jasmine Alvarado, seven year-old Edwin Alvarado, Jr., and six year-old Joshua Alvarado. The three children are enrolled in Valliant Schools.

The OSBI says they were taken from their home in Valliant less than a week ago... in the evening of last Thursday, February 23rd.

The family is from South America, in southeast Oklahoma on a work visa which is still active.

They have lived in McCurtain County for eight months.

Anyone with information should call OSBI at 1-800-522-8017 or the McCurtain County Sheriff's Office at 580-286-3331.
